The manual cutting stage requires a rigid, well-levelled work surface. Schiavo tables feature a robust steel structure and a wooden top covered in felt. A fan generates a powerful air cushion that allows an entire sheet of glass to be moved with a single finger. The tables come with pneumatic or hydraulic lifting and have standard dimensions of up to 3300×2400 mm.
The TCA Series is designed for cutting and snapping operations on glass sheets of up to 3300×2400 mm. The air-cushion top allows the glass sheet to be positioned effortlessly, while the 2 + 1 snapping bars ensure a clean break of the sheet along the applied score line. The tilting of the top — available in a pneumatic version (TCA101) or a hydraulic version (TCA102) — makes loading the sheet safer and easier.
The TRP Model is designed for manual cutting operations on sheets of up to 3300 × 2200 mm. The 3 mm black felt top protects the surface of the glass during positioning; the swivel castors, pneumatically actuated at 6–7 bar, retract at the moment of cutting to ensure full stability of the work surface.
Schiavo loading tables handle sheet feeding throughout the process stages, with belt, motorised-wheel and motorised-roller configurations. Each system is sized according to the sheet format, the production rate and the line layout — with dimensions customisable on request.
